“Dare to do right”- Rex D. Pinegar

What this quote is trying to tell us is that we are dared to always choose the right because it's the best thing you can do. Another thing is that if we aren’t told to choose the right than there would never be peace and respect towards us. An example of this quote would be that you throw a party at your house and your mom tells you that there’s no smoking allowed only beverages. But then you see someone come in with a pack of cigarettes. What should you do allow him in so that you get in trouble or kick him out and do the right thing. I think that it would be best if you kick him out because it’s best for everyone.So I’m daring you to do the right thing. When you are dare someone to do something you should always make sure that they are positive and clean so that you won't get in trouble. That’s why Rex is daring you to do right because he wants to see if you have the potential and the ability to choose the right all the time.

                       

Stand Alone

“Dare to stand alone.”- Thomas S. Monson

What this quote is trying to tell us is that we should stand alone when we’re in a bad situation. For example you go to a party and you see people fighting and drinking alcohol, what should you do? I think that you should get out of there as fast as you can, so that you won’t be involved in it. It’s better when you’re alone than in a crowd where they are choosing the wrong. Another thing Thomas is trying to say is that standing alone isn’t a bad thing because indeed it gets you farther in the future, you’ll be successful. Don’t forget that choosing the right is always acceptable in every situation. Don’t go down the wrong path and be unsuccessful because no one wants to see you suffer. If you take the dare to stand alone then you’ll be able to do anything you desire to do. Don’t let anyone or anything drag you only you know what’s best for whether it’s standing alone or choosing to join the crowd.
