Ear, nose, and throat specialists, also known as otolaryngologists or ENT specialists that are medical doctors responsible for surgical and medical treatment of the ears, nose, and throat, as well as the related head and neck areas. An ENT doctor will need to begin by pursuing traditional route to and through medical school. They also need al least five years of training in surgical residency. Most of them start with a bachelors of science degree and still are accepted to medical school programs.
Demand for this education:
An ENT needs to attend medical school in order to become one. During you last two years of medical school you can take a specialized coursework in otolarngology.

I think that I would like to become one because you get to investigate what going on with your patient and help prevent the infection they have. Another thing is that you can help any type of age. Which is a good thing because everyone may be able to be cure, sometimes they may not be able to be prevent but at least you gave it your best shot.
