Duties and Responsibilities:
Surgeons are medical doctors with additional training to perform general or specialized types of surgeries. While surgeons spend time preparing for procedures, reviewing files and meeting with patients, their most critical role is to perform accurately and efficiently in the operating room. During this surgical procedure the surgeon carries out a number of additional specific duties or delegates to assistants. Surgeon may closed the wound after the procedure or have an assistant do that. After the surgery the doctor has the assistant apply dressings to treat the wound

Education:
Surgeons typically start out by enrolling in a university or college with a strong pre-medical program and by choosing a major related to medicine, such as biology, physics, or chemistry. After earning a bachelor's degree, they must pass the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) in order to apply to medical school. During medical school, students must gain an even greater mastery of subjects taken at the undergraduate level. These include anatomy, microbiology, biochemistry, physiology, pathology, psychology, ethics, and medical law, among others. Programs also require students to go through rotations, where they learn the basics of patient care across a variety of specialties. They may also need a residency license.

I think that I wouldn’t like to be one because you have to perform tough surgeries at times and that takes a lot of practice. Another thing is that you have to be very careful when you’re doing this kind of job because if you don’t know you might hurt the patient. You also have to have strategies and concentrate on thye job/surgery.
