The Neurosurgeon
Duties and Responsibilities:
   Neurosurgeons are doctors who diagnose and treat problems with the nervous system and is often performing surgery on the brain or spine. They treat strokes, tumors, certain types of birth defects, infections and head or spinal cord injuries. Their daily life is extremely complex and demanding. Their main responsibility is to perform surgery to resolve problems with the nervous system. Neurosurgeons must also meet with the families of patient in surgery and keep them updated on the situation.
Salary:
   101,630-786,204
Education:
   Neurosurgeons must complete an undergraduate degree and must earn a bachelor’s degree. Another thing is that they must be in a pre-medical program that will cover academic courses in general chemistry, biology, mathematics, organic chemistry and english. They must have at least four complete years of medical school.
Demand or need for this profession:
   They must be able to perform surgery the correct way and prevent or treat any diseases that can occur in the brain.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to become one? Why? Why not?

   I think that I would not like to become one because them I will have to work with the brain and make surgeries on them. Another thing is that you really have to be good like yo can get nervous when you are performing surgery and you have to know what you are doing. That’s why I believe that I don’t fit in to be in this kind of job.
