Duties and Responsibilities:
    Nursing home administrator is a specialized area of medical and health services management. They work to supervise clinical and administrative affairs of nursing home and related facilities. Their typical duties include overseeing staff and personnel, financial matters, medical care and medical supplies.

Education:
    They are required to have at least a four year bachelor’s degree and pass a state licensing examination. Larger employers or more advanced positions may require a master’s degree. Health services administration, public administration, or long term care administration is a standard credential for a nursing home administrator.  
Demand or Need for this profession:
    Nursing home administrator should have skills and knowledge. Being  able to absorb and interpret large amounts of possibly conflicting information and possessing good communication skills will help you to be effective as a nursing home administrator.

Reflection: Would you like to become one? Why? Why not?

    I think that I wouldn't like to become one because it doesn’t really interest me. Another thing is that you just supervise health services. I also know that I wouldn’t fit into attend this job because you also need certain kills to be a good nursing home administrator.
